A story for every full moon, a little wonder waiting by morning, and a tradition that can become entirely your own.

The Full Moon Fairy Subscription follows the lunar calendar, with a new beautifully illustrated hardcover bedtime story for each full moon. Every tale follows Faye the Full Moon Fairy and the characters she meets along the way, with stories created to spark imagination, conversation, and connection between children and the grown-ups reading beside them.

Families can customize each monthly kit with an optional age-appropriate trinket inspired by the story, designed to be set out after bedtime and discovered the next morning. Sometimes it’s interactive. Sometimes it encourages exploring, making, noticing, or playing. Always, it gives a little piece of the story somewhere to live beyond the page.

Every new subscription also includes Faye & Friends and the Moon & Stars Garland, complimentary, even if you choose to opt out of monthly trinkets. Faye & Friends is the beginning of the tradition, introducing Faye, the full moon ritual, and the little bit of wonder that ties all of the stories together.

When does the tradition begin?

Whenever you’re ready.

Your first subscription shipment is prepared within days of subscribing. Because our monthly stories are created to be experienced with their corresponding full moons, there is a cutoff each month for receiving that moon’s story in time.

If you subscribe before the cutoff and everything arrives before the full moon, perfect. Tuck it away until the moon is full and begin then.

If you subscribe close to or after the cutoff, your first monthly book may be for the next full moon in the series instead. That’s where Faye & Friends comes in.

You can open Faye & Friends the second it arrives and begin right away. You can save it for the current full moon. You can set out the Moon & Stars Garland that night and save your first monthly book and trinket for their corresponding moon. Or you can keep everything tucked away and begin the whole tradition together when that next full moon arrives.

And if the full moon has already passed by the time your package reaches you? That’s okay too. You don’t have to wait another month to begin.

Once your first shipment has gone out, you’ll fall into our regular subscription rhythm. Future kits are typically sent around mid-month, with plenty of time to tuck them away before the upcoming full moon.

There is no wrong way to be a Full Moon Fairy family.
